Behind the Scenes with Clayton

People often ask me what it’s like to be married to Clayton King. When we were first married, people always asked me “Is he always like he is on stage?” I laughed inside when people asked me this because if he’d maintained the same energy levels he had on stage, he would have probably imploded years ago.

I am proud to say that, minus the energy, my husband is the same amazing person on and off stage.

An intern with our ministry just finished a behind the scenes video on Winterfest 2013. This is always a refreshing event because we get to see other artists we don’t often get to hang out with on a regular basis. After the New Year, once all the streamers had fallen and the celebration was coming to a close, a good friend gave us both a hug. He looked at Clayton in the eyes and said, “Hey man, I just wanted to tell you that I appreciate your friendship. You are the same man I knew 20 years ago and I’m proud to say I know you.”

This touched my heart because it is true. My husband is (and always has been) genuine, caring, honest and loving.

I want to share this little movie because it paints a beautiful picture of what his life (and our life) is like. This is the man I love, the man I married.
